my opinion is that they are actually a couple and the bracelets are a type of a promise to each other instead of promise rings. So people would quit hounding them. You can tell that he cares very deeply for her by the way that he looks sad when he is away from her and vise versa. So i really do not think that there is anything going on between him and Emily. besides she is not his type. so i hope that she realizes it. I hope Emily knows that it seems that Rob is deeply in love with Kristen so leave them alone.
