IESB has an interview with Peter Facinelli. He talks on his acting career, New Moon and Nurse Jackie.

Here is an excerpt from the interview:

IESB: Was there a certain comfort level, in returning to this character again for New Moon, having already played him before?

Peter: Definitely. It’s like putting on an old pair of jeans, the second time around. You feel like you already know this character and you’ve created him, and you know the other actors and you know the relationships, but you’re always looking to dig a little deeper and find more because you don’t want to keep churning out the same thing. You try to keep finding different layers. With the first movie, I did a lot more research on how this character was. For the second movie, I worked more on his relationships within the family structure.

Jacob Isn’t the Only One Who Needs Physical Training

As we all know, Taylor Lautner has gone through some intense training to take on the role as the ever-growing Jacob Black. For the new installment, Eclipse, he won’t be alone in the training. For The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Peter Facinelli, Robert Pattinson and the rest of the crew is going to be spending a few weeks on fight training. Eclipse is KNOWN for the fight scene at the end of the book with Victoria and her newborn brooding clan.
With training on hand, Peter Facinelli talks about his plans for family visits. Peter quotes, “I try not to go more than two weeks without seeing the kids,” he says. “That is my general rule. After two weeks, it gets to be too long and the kids are, ‘Who are you?’ I am on ‘Eclipse’ for three months. I will go back and forth. I am going to have them come up for the fight training so they can see what dad does.”
